If this doesn't get you in the mood to spend a day at the beach in Oregon, nothing will. Judy Hillman has created a fabulous wall quilt depicting some of her favorite beach scenes. My Summer Vacation is easy to construct and fun to make! A center panel shows a seal basking on the rocks. Ten other blocks depict common summer beach themes. The quilt is constructed using primarily batik fabrics, fusible web and blanket stitch applique. Finished Size is: 52" x 55"
The weather was so beautiful in Oregon today, I really wanted to be at the beach myself! Instead, we opened the back door and let a little of that sunshine in.
